The BA (Hons) Business Management 3 Year Programme blends both academic study and skills development in order to enhance your employability. In order to enable you to develop broad knowledge in the desired area, the course has an emphasis on applying the knowledge developed in real life situations through case studies or working in and with real organisations. Additionally, you acquire a wide range of skills and competences useful for dealing competently with real-life, practical problems. The course will focus on the ability to think critically and will, therefore, enable you to analyse and evaluate solutions to complex, real-life problems.

On successful completion of the programme you will be awarded the BA (Hons) degree in Business Management and an HND in Business Management.

Course Description
The programme is designed for students who see themselves as future business professionals in any industry (private / public / voluntary). The programme provides various opportunities to develop knowledge and expertise required to
be a successful manager.
In the initial phase of your BA (Hons) Business Management studies, students will have to choose one of the HND pathways being offered:
HND in Business Management – Level 4 and 5
HND in Accounting and Finance – Level 4 and 5
HND in Marketing – Level 4 and 5
HND in Human Resource Management – Level 4 and 5
HND in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management – Level 4 and 5
In the final year of the BA (Hons) 3 Year Programme, students will have to complete the following course modules:
- Strategic Marketing
- Managing Innovation in Business
- Leading and Managing Change
- Corporate Strategy and Governance
Assessment is through coursework.
- For entry in an HND programme, the student must have at least one of the following in academics
- A level or intermediate
- A BTEC level-3 qualification in Business
- Other related level-3 qualifications or recognised equivalent qualification
- An Access to a Higher Education Certificate awarded by an approved Further Education institution
- Related work experience (two years or more of relevant full-time work experience). As part of our entry requirements, applicants who may not have the necessary qualifications, may be considered through their relevant work experience (3 years minimum). As part of the application process, applicants will be required to provide a copy of their CV and a reference letter from employers.
The students will also be required to prove their fluency in English language. Overseas students for whom English is not their mother-tongue will need to provide evidence that their English is good enough to keep up with the course. This can be any one of the following:
- IELTS 5.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in both Reading and Writing
- CEFR level B2
- PTE 51
- Or approved equivalent.
Flexible Distributed Learning (FDL) method
We recommend an average of 12-15 hours study time per week for this programme.
In addition to a completed application form:
- Copies of your relevant certificates and transcripts.
- One suitable work reference.
- Copy of your CV covering your work history (covering the last five years).
- Proof of English language ability (IELTS or equivalent).

Total Credits
This BA 3 Year Programme consists of 6 mandatory units with 2 optional units in the first year and 5 mandatory units with 2 optional units in the second year. In the 3rd year, a total of 4 units are mandatory, leading to a total of 360 credits.
